Example storylines<br />

Series one.<br />

Episode Seven: Spear Sisters<br />

Catligula is putting on a festival of female gladiators in honour of his grandmother Mewlia.<br />

Gladiator school owner Felinius only has one female fighter - Gatitta. So he tries to enter <strong>Spartapuss</strong><br />

and Cloccus into the games by disguising them as females. Cloccus initially protests but soon gets<br />

into the part. Meanwhile Gatitta is picked to battle against a fighter from a rival gladiator school -<br />

her own sister! <strong>Spartapuss</strong> uses his magic coin to bring the sisters together by getting them to say<br />

what they really feel. But the more they say, the worse things get.<br />

Episode Eight: Mice Dice<br />

Catligula is back at the gladiator school for lessons - Felinius is teaching him to cheat at ‘mice<br />

dice’. Catligula challenges <strong>Spartapuss</strong> to a game. Felinius gives <strong>Spartapuss</strong> strict orders for his<br />

gladiators to deliberately lose but <strong>Spartapuss</strong>’s magic coin means he keeps winning.<br />

Catligula has decreed a terrible fate for anyone who beats a member of the Imperial family.<br />

Episode Nine: Close shave<br />

Cloccus discovers he has fleas! <strong>Spartapuss</strong> uses his magic coin to banish them but they hop onto<br />

Catligula.The soon-to-be-Ceaser gives orders that all Romans should be shaved. This proves very<br />

unpopular and an angry crowd demands that Catligula and the Imperial cats should be shaved<br />

too. Catlgiula’s grandmother Mewlia is not amused! To win back the crowd, Catligula opens a<br />

pampering spa that offers free beauty treatments. Can <strong>Spartapuss</strong> give Mewlia a make over?<br />

Episode Ten: Chariots of Fur<br />

Gatitta and <strong>Spartapuss</strong> are sent to practice chariot racing in the arena. The fortune coin unlocks a<br />

secret passage to the tunnels under the arena. There they meet The Moracle - an oracle mouse<br />

who can predict the future. The warning <strong>Spartapuss</strong> receives - ‘beware the wheels of fate’ - makes<br />

no sense until the pair emerge in the middle of Catligula’s first ‘professional’ chariot race.<br />

Episode Eleven: Wheels On Fire<br />

<strong>Spartapuss</strong> causes a crash and is blamed for wrecking Catligula’s glorious golden chariot -<br />

Thunderbolt III. (He crashed the first two Thunderbolts) Catligula is trapped by the evil extras on<br />

his marvellous machine. Should <strong>Spartapuss</strong> and friends rescue their worst enemy?<br />

Episode: Twelve: Hail Catligula!<br />

The unthinkable has happened. Catligula has become Emperor. He’s mad, bad and dangerous to<br />

stroke. Questions are asked by Roman public when he makes his pet rat a senator and declares<br />

war on the sea. <strong>Spartapuss</strong> gets a sinking feeling when Catligula decides to flood the arena and<br />

stage an epic sea battle. Gatitta seems unusally nervous. Because she cannot swim! Cloccus and<br />

<strong>Spartapuss</strong> will have to win this match without the brilliant Gatitta.
