THE TEACHING ROOM<br />

10m x 7m Workshop/Teaching Room<br />

£10.50ph or £73.50 for 8hr day.<br />

Our large and popular teaching room<br />

can accommodate classes of up to<br />

40 people. Hiring the space includes<br />

access to easels, boards, tables,<br />

lighting, sink and changing room. You<br />

will also have access to our ‘Common<br />

Room’ for breaks and refreshments.<br />

Publicly accessible classes are eligible<br />

for complimentary promotion via our<br />

website and social media channels.<br />

Thursday 13 December – Friday 21 December: 12.00pm-5.00pm<br />

Open Evening: Thursday 13 December 6.00-8.00pm<br />

This group show by third year students from Bath Spa University<br />

School of Art and Design includes a range of works, the majority of<br />

which are progressions from second and third year studies. The<br />

exhibition offers the students the chance to experiment with ways of<br />

presenting their work before the final degree shows in the Summer.<br />

Working within a broad spectrum of oeuvres from realism to sound<br />

design, all the works are inspired by contemporary themes of<br />

depression and political issues. Influences are drawn from artists such<br />

as Francis Bacon, George Orwell, Grayson Perry and Lucian Freud.<br />

The exhibiting artists are: Amelia Harrison, Joanna Collins, Gwen<br />

Davenport, Harry Little, Samantha Davies, Laura Cherry,<br />

Georgia Smith and Sarah Mccone Usher.<br />

As an extension to our Teaching<br />

Room and Gallery facilities, this<br />

newly developed space comprises<br />

an area suitable for casting, wet or<br />

construction based sculpture. Hire of<br />

this space includes access to sink and<br />

draining/drying areas.<br />
