This group show by third year students from Bath Spa University
School of Art and Design includes a range of works, the majority of
which are progressions from second and third year studies. The
exhibition offers the students the chance to experiment with ways of
presenting their work before the final degree shows in the Summer.
Working within a broad spectrum of oeuvres from realism to sound
design, all the works are inspired by contemporary themes of
depression and political issues. Influences are drawn from artists such
as Francis Bacon, George Orwell, Grayson Perry and Lucian Freud.
The exhibiting artists are: Amelia Harrison, Joanna Collins, Gwen
Davenport, Harry Little, Samantha Davies, Laura Cherry,
Georgia Smith and Sarah Mccone Usher.
