“International investors are bullish on India with the
economy maintaining an average annual growth rate of
about 7.3 per cent, positioning the nation as the world’s
fastest growing large economy,” Consul-General of India
to Dubai Vipul said.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, ICAI (Dubai) organized its
first ever overnight stay – residential learning event. Over 50
ICAI (Dubai) members and family members participated in
the sunrise yoga and fitness activities organized.
Various events were organized for family members and
children including beach volleyball, egg hunting, BBQ dinner
etc. and everyone spent the night in beach side tents.
Addressing ICAI (Dubai) members on the Indian Budget
2018 held jointly with Zee Network he said that over the past
four years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government
has been successful in improving India’s ‘Ease of Doing
Business’ rankings from 142 to 100. He said the Indian
budget is broad-based and positively impacts a greater
number of people, resulting in higher incomes for them
and overall higher growth. “We look forward to the UAE’s
partnership in this journey by further strengthening our
already strong trade and investment relationship,” said the
Consul-General.
