Sept. 13 — The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Taste of<br />
Pasadena from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Rose Bowl. Sample food and drink from some of<br />
Pasadena’s top restaurants. Attendees can also sample the four finalist cocktails in the<br />
SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge and vote for Pasadena Cocktail of the Year.<br />
Live music by Dance Syndicate is included. Tickets are $30 in advance, $60 at the door.<br />

at the Derby,” at the Oakmont Country<br />
Club in Glendale. Golfers and nongolfers<br />
can enjoy a Kentucky Derby–<br />
themed dinner, live bluegrass music, an<br />
auction and contests for best hat and<br />
best bow tie. Golfing starts at 11 a.m.;<br />
the Bluegrass Bar opens at 5 p.m.; dinner,<br />
auction and awards ceremony start at<br />
6:30 p.m. and dancing starts at 8 p.m.<br />
