Confucius’ birthday. This year the festival will fall during Chinese<br />

Language Week. Shirley Library and the Confucius Institute<br />

will present a programme to celebrate these special days<br />

within Chinese culture. The activities will include paper-cutting,<br />

calligraphy, plate-painting, games, folk dancing, and learning<br />

basic Chinese greeting and numbers. Free, no bookings<br />

required. Recommended for all ages but a caregiver required.<br />
