My historical manuscripts took me to<br />
another time when life was much less<br />
complicated. I could make up my<br />
own stories, change the lives of my<br />
characters and become a part of the<br />
plot if I so desired.<br />
This in turn allowed me to gain back<br />
my identity. Although to some this<br />
statement will not make any sense, to<br />
me it was life altering.<br />
It all began in 2015 when I wrote my<br />
first novel Emily Rose. One that I had<br />
no intentions on sharing with the<br />
world.<br />
Today to my surprise I have written<br />
several. How did this happen?<br />
Am I a writer, an author I really don't<br />
know. All I know is somewhere deep<br />
inside me there is another person<br />
that takes over the minute I begin a<br />
new story.<br />
Who is this person that insists on<br />
pursuing another chapter in my life? I<br />
have worn many titles over the years.<br />
A mother, a nurse, a best friend but<br />
never in my wildest dreams would I<br />
add writer to that list. It really does<br />
seem like I had a story to tell all<br />
along.<br />
