Forever Mine
From one's heart, you can learn how they feel,
then comes the loving and touching.
From single words and phrases, you can see their spirit,
especially when they release your personal favorites. I can
tell when you are well and yes I can tell when you are
fine. Maybe I should thank you, because from your
character, blessings flow like a menagerie of a fanciful
carousel. Do keep hoping and keep praying, because I
have been sick lately. I have been battered and beaten
down a little, but I did want to thank you for picking me
up. From one to one hundred thousand, you were the
only person who decided to help me. I know you are
aware of the shortness of my time. I know you understand
my priorities. I will see you again. Not in pictures and
slides, nor by telephones or e-mails, but in Atlanta.
Until then, please remain and stay, forever mine.
