Dear Sandy Toes,
I watched the ocean‟s waves cover your feet and you didn‟t
move. I watched in a very pleasing way as the sun slowly
covered your body. I watched you yawn, close your eyes and
smile as a distant bell rang beautiful music in the wind; it
was your daytime lullaby. As I looked at you, I thought to
myself, “This is good for me too.” I enjoy seeing you relaxed,
happy and calm.
As I sat next to you, without looking, you laid your hand on
my stomach, maybe in your dreams you needed to know that
I was still there. You stroked my chest, then turned on your
side, safe and comfortable in your slumber.
Dear Sandy Toes, I did think it was funny when that crab
decided to walk up your leg. It was hilarious when you
jumped up from your dreams and screamed “save me!” I still
have the picture of you catching a “horsy ride” on my back.
You played the angles so perfectly. You made me feel so much
like your man. We ran somewhere down an endless beach,
holding hands and kissing from time to time. In closing, I
just wanted to thank you for letting me wipe the sand off of
the back of your thighs. You knew I enjoyed meticulously
removing the tiny grains from your butt. And when you
