DENTAL OUTREACH
The Constituency Office of
Constituency 5 assisted in spearing
the first dental outreach for 2018.
This outreach targeted students from
the schools in the constituency and
residents.
UNIVERSITY OF GUYANA STUDENTS
INTERVENTION PROJECTS
2 Groups of Final Year University of
Guyana Students completed projects
within the Constuency as part of their
final year studies at the University
Their project would have covered 3
main areas of focus
*Pregnant Teens Support &
Empowerment
*Safety and Environment

FOCAL SESSION WITH TIPS UNIT –
Min. of Social Protection
The Constituency benefited from
a Public Education session on
Trafficking In Persons (TIPS) which
was conducted by the Ministry of
Social Protection
SQUATTERS ENGAGEMENT / REGISTER
OF PERSONS ON THE RESERVE.
As a result of the Ministry of
Communities Department of Housing
operations to resettle squatters from
the reserves in Constituency 5 a
register of persons on the reserve
was drafted as the engagement were
steered via the engagement of the
Constituency Office which resolved
to have the untenable situation com
to a resolution where all the residents
were satisfied and the Ministry was
able to exercise their mandate
TRAINING – PROJECT
WRITING BY ANTOL (CSSP)
Several person from the communities
in Constituency 5 were trained
in Project Writing, Community
Crime Prevention and Confliction
Management.
INFRASTRUCTURAL ASSESSMENT –
ROAD & DRAINAGE NETWORK
An evaluation assessment was
done and consultation initiated
on the infrastructural needs and
sustainability works on the drainage
system and the road network system.
The Constituency Representative
has been making periodic visits to
review the status of all interceptive
works being carried out by the
engineers from the Ministry of Public
