Bookworm Gardens is a vibrant,
playful garden inspired by children’s
literature, the natural world and the
imagination. The gardens provide a
fun, safe place for children, parents and
grandparents to reconnect with nature,
explore and play.
Travel back in time to the days of
stagecoach travel at the Wade House in
Greenbush. This historic site includes the
stagecoach inn, blacksmith shop, sawmill
and the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum.
You can take a horse-drawn carriage ride,
watch a Civil War reenactment and cheer
on a 1860s vintage base ball team.
The Sheboygan County Historical
Museum complex includes a museum and
four historic buildings, including a barn,
homestead, cheese factory and a stately
brick home as well as special events and
seasonal displays. Changing exhibits
include Indian history, ice harvesting,
maritime, circus, local sports, medical
pharmaceutical, early agricultural and
related trades.
An eclectic mix of the area’s art
culture can be found at the Sheboygan
Visual Artists (SVA) organization. The
EBCO Artworks building includes a
collection in celebration of visual arts
for all to experience. SVA’s Final Friday
events offer captivating exhibits and
activities featuring original works by
local artists each month.
