Bookworm Gardens is a vibrant,<br />

playful garden inspired by children’s<br />

literature, the natural world and the<br />

imagination. The gardens provide a<br />

fun, safe place for children, parents and<br />

grandparents to reconnect with nature,<br />

explore and play.<br />

Travel back in time to the days of<br />

stagecoach travel at the Wade House in<br />

Greenbush. This historic site includes the<br />

stagecoach inn, blacksmith shop, sawmill<br />

and the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum.<br />

You can take a horse-drawn carriage ride,<br />

watch a Civil War reenactment and cheer<br />

on a 1860s vintage base ball team.<br />

The Sheboygan County Historical<br />

Museum complex includes a museum and<br />

four historic buildings, including a barn,<br />

homestead, cheese factory and a stately<br />

brick home as well as special events and<br />

seasonal displays. Changing exhibits<br />

include Indian history, ice harvesting,<br />

maritime, circus, local sports, medical<br />

pharmaceutical, early agricultural and<br />

related trades.<br />

An eclectic mix of the area’s art<br />

culture can be found at the Sheboygan<br />

Visual Artists (SVA) organization. The<br />

EBCO Artworks building includes a<br />

collection in celebration of visual arts<br />

for all to experience. SVA’s Final Friday<br />

events offer captivating exhibits and<br />

activities featuring original works by<br />

local artists each month.<br />
