How are your Christmas lists coming along? The only<br />
thing I’ve crossed off so far is ‘buy cards’ (I haven’t<br />
actually written any yet), but I know things will move<br />
on apace after 15 <strong>November</strong>, when I will have made my, now<br />
traditional – and much-anticipated – visit to the Wealden Times<br />
Midwinter Fair.<br />
Husband, daughter, mum, sister’s dogs... tick tick tick tick.<br />
If you are looking for present inspiration you will find it in our<br />
blockbuster 36-page gift guide, which features fabulous things<br />
helpfully organised into genres to suit foodies, gardeners, teens,<br />
little ones, chaps, girlfriends and more.<br />

The other joyful aspect of this time of year for me is parties and<br />
a very welcome opportunity to dress up. Our fashion feature will<br />
really help you put some sparkle and shine into your look with<br />
dresses, tops and shoes which glitter like a disco ball.<br />
Our houses this month are a glorious contrast. One is a riot<br />
of colour, patterns and outside-the-box ideas (have you ever<br />
considered painting and decoupaging your fridge, for example?)<br />
in a Victorian terrace. The other is an elegant contemporary<br />
scheme in the generous space of converted malt barn. We hope<br />
you will love them both as much as we do.<br />
