SPINNING REELS
The fixed spool reel has a static spool onto which the line is wound by means of a rotating bail arm. On many of these types of reels the
spool oscillates to ensure a smooth and even lay of line on the spool. There are a number of variations in the fixed spool reel range including
a front drag and rear drag. The drag mechanism allows running fish to take line at a preset level of tension. The tension can be adjusted by
the drag lever to ease or apply more resistance to the fish allowing line to be released from the spool at a little below the breaking strain
of the line. The newest fixed spool reel is a free spool version. A free running spool is used to allow the fish to pick up the bait and run
without any drag until the angler starts to wind in. There are many sizes of fixed spools going from the micro and match reels right up to
the very large beach casting, boat fishing and big pit reels.

This series of front drag casting reels are equipped with 11
ball bearings and one roller bearing which will give you very
even line lay. The reels are very robust, while the weight, due
to the ventilated aluminium spool and drilled frame, is low.
Equipped with ergonomically shaped handle in EVA for best
grip.
