Gallery Iceni<br />
needs you!<br />
At the Iceni Partnership, we are always looking<br />
for new art groups, or individuals who would<br />
like to showcase their work in our<br />
gallery in the community centre.<br />
<strong>Swaffham</strong> Community Hospital LOFs<br />
A slightly quiet time now in one respect. We are<br />
maintaining the newly revamped garden at the rear<br />
of the hospital. We have added some additional<br />
planting and bulbs. With our new gazeebo we plan<br />
to have an external Christmas tree.<br />
Regarding Christmas preparations...a new supply<br />
of “Friends” Christmas cards are here, so please<br />
support us by purchasing some. We have them<br />
at our events and they are on sale at hospital<br />
reception. We are also supporting the usual practice<br />
of making sure all patients in over the Christmas<br />
period receive presents. We are supporting<br />
hospital staff to ensure a programme of pre<br />
Christmas activities/entertainment for patients.<br />
We have confirmed that we are participating in<br />
the “Christmas Tree Festival” in church, the first<br />
week of December and will have a table at the<br />
Rotary Christmas event.<br />
This is an opportunity to thank those businesses<br />
in town who support us by hosting one of our<br />
collection boxes. These are of great value to us. If<br />
you think you might be able to help us by hosting<br />
one of our boxes, we would love to hear from you<br />
Looking ahead to next year, we hope to be<br />
assisting with the purchase of some new “purpose<br />
designed” bedside chairs for patients. Also we<br />
hope that the Health Trust will support the idea<br />
of an extension to the existing main day/dining<br />
room. In the new year, once the Methodist church<br />
is fully back open we will hold more of our coffee<br />
mornings.<br />
