Ludovico’s will cater. The Professionals events offer an opportunity for area professionals to network with one another. It’s free, and requires no registration. “Our monthly networking events this past year have proved to be a great opportunity for local, like-minded professionals to meet and discuss ideas and knowledge of their industry,” said Anne Picking, chair of the Professionals Committee. “We’re looking forward to hosting our final event of the year on December 7,” she continued. Professional networking events alternate between the first Friday of the month (an 8am breakfast) or the first Thursday of the month (a 5:30pm gathering). Bring your business cards! The Annual Mayor’s Breakfast, hosted by the Haddonfield Lions Club, will be held on Sat Jan 19 at the First Presbyterian Church, 20 Kings Hwy E, starting at 9am. Tickets are $8 and will be available at the door. Mayor Neil Rochford will deliver the annual State of the Borough Address and also present the Citizen of the Year award, which recognizes an outstanding member of the Haddonfield community. The winner is selected by the Citizen of the Year Committee, a group of Haddonfield community members. Nominations are now being accepted until the deadline of Mon Dec 31. Many outstanding community members have been nominated previously, and the committee is happy to consider both former and new nominees. However, nominations must be current and include the 2019 Nomination Form as a cover sheet, together with one or more statements by those making the recommendation. Note: All nominees must be Haddonfield residents. A nomination form may be found at haddonfieldlions.org.
