Frontier Pitts adds to perimeter protection solutions with all-new
LPS 1175-rated Platinum range
Frontier Pitts is constantly identifying today’s ever-changing security threats and has
now further developed its automatic high-security gates portfolio to provide an
intruder-resistant Platinum range proven to resist attack to LPS 1175.
The LPS 1175 Platinum gate range has been developed over the past two years by
the company’s dedicated R&D team and Building Information Modelling specialist.
Many clients had been installing unrated security gates that hadn’t been tested
alongside LPS 1175 security-rated fence lines. By testing and upgrading certain
elements on all models of its automatic security gates, Frontier Pitts is now pleased to
bring to market the first complete LPS 1175 anti-intruder gate range, subsequently
introducing another perimeter security layer to the ‘security onion’.
The Platinum automatic security gate range with Security Ratings of 2 and 3 includes the following variants: Platinum sliding
gate up to 10 metres wide, Platinum bi-folding gate: double leaf up to 10 metres wide, single leaf up to 5 metres wide, Platinum
hinged gate: double leaf up to 10 metres wide, single leaf up to 5 metres wide and Platinum pedestrian gate: Fully-automatic,
semi-automatic, manual operation.
The Platinum range joins the company’s large portfolio of high-security products, which encompasses the high-security IWA
14/PAS 68 impact-tested products. The company can offer the complete solution for all mob attack scenarios and crowded
place/public realm venues.
LPS 1175 covers the broadest scope of physical security products and services of any publicly available standard in the world. It’s
the end result of many years of work conducted by the Loss Prevention Certification Board, Government, insurers and the police.
