MUZIRIS PADDLE 2019
Muziris Paddle, the two-day kayaking
expedition organized by Jellyfish
Watersports in partnership with Muziris
Heritage Project (Kerala Tourism) is
likely to attract over 200 paddlers in
the event which will be flagged off from
the Kotturpuram Jetty in Kodungalloor

YOUNG CHEF OLYMPIAD
The fifth edition of the International Young
Chef Olympiad (YCO), the world’s biggest
culinary extravaganza for student chefs,
will be held in India, with participation
from 55 countries. Students from some of
the world’s best culinary and hospitality
institutions will fight for the coveted YCO
2019 winner’s trophy, a cash prize of USD
10,000 and an acknowledgement of their
skills from celebrated industry stalwarts.
The event will be held in four cities —
Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
When: January 28-February 2, 2019

usage of our rivers for recreational usage
and creates a connection to the river with
youngsters and tourists. The kayakers
will cover AN overall distance of 40 km
traversing through rivers, backwaters and

THE TRICK IS LIVING
Nature Morte presents Bharti Kher’s
biggest solo exhibition to date in India
called The Trick is Living. The show
uses the expansive, many-chambered,
twinned and double-floored architecture
of Bikaner House not only to lay out
in physical space the bewildering
variety of work that Kher has made,
and continues to make, as an artist,
but also to bring into complex relation
the many dimensions, materials, forms,
themes and visual languages that unfold
simultaneously and begin to connect
with one another as one looks at these
bodies of work.
