The event's main comedy act
will be "The Crackup Sisters"
who aim to have the audience
in stitches as they deliver a
hilarious mix of comedy,
whipcracking and acrobatics
while telling stories of the
Australian country and its
larrikin characters.
They will be joined by
Diramu Aboriginal Dance and
Didgeridoo, the Hornsby
Berowra Ukulele Group and
the Jim Jam Music Studio
Hornsby.
"Children will have plenty of
interactive activities to enjoy
on the day with a native
Australian animal display, face
painting and boomerang
painting workshops," Mayor
Steve Russell said.
"The Lions Club of Hornsby
will serve up a tasty BBQ for a
gold coin donation, with
proceeds going to local
charities Hornsby Connect
and The Bedford Community
CafŽ."

speaker Sam Cawthorn will
give the Australia Day Address
at the Deckhouse in Woolwich
from 9am and has been
welcomed by General Manager
Barry Smith.
"Sam is a thought leader and
expert in resilience and
corporate turnarounds and is
also one of the worlds leading
speaker coaches," Mr Smith
said.

Council will be undertaking in
2019, but as you can see it is
going to be another busy year.

continue to make Ryde a great
place to live, work and play.

Assurance Review of planning
in the Ryde LGA – opportunity

The Greater Sydney Commission is undertaking an
Assurance Review of planning in the Ryde Local
Government Area (LGA), with a particular focus on
the Macquarie Park Investigation Area and its broader
impact on the Ryde LGA.
