in <strong>food</strong><br />
The <strong>food</strong> and beverage <strong>industry</strong> is <strong>the</strong> first in Spain<br />
for production and exports. All records were broken<br />
last year in terms of production and employment, with<br />
an increase of 4% for <strong>the</strong> latter, exceeding <strong>the</strong> symbolic<br />
figure of 500,000 direct jobs and 2.5 million indirect<br />
jobs. This sector represents no less than 21%<br />
of Spain’s total manufacturing <strong>industry</strong>. In addition, it<br />
is a segment with a clear intention to export, having<br />
exceeded <strong>the</strong> figure of €30 billion in 2017.<br />
AINIA is a technology centre that has been helping<br />
companies for more than 30 years through innovation<br />
in its products and processes, as well as through <strong>the</strong><br />
