determination and a vision, he launched his own music record label- Africa Hotlines.
One of the things
we all have to
do in life is to
dream. Young
and old, dreams
are inspirational; they are a
form of reality that we have
to work towards to bring to
life. In hindsight, a vision and
a dream that motivate us to
our thoughts into a powerful
reality grow and bloom into a
great accomplishment in our
lives. Harriet Tubman once
said, “Every dream begins with
a dreamer. Always remember,
you have within you the
strength, the patience, and the
passion to reach for the stars
to change the world”.
Tshepo Modise, famously
known as Cruz Afrika proved
just exactly. For what started
to him as dream, grew to be a
vision, to a motivation to him
to work towards making that a
reality and make it a reality.
Afrika was born and raised
in grimy streets of Taung in
the province known as the
platinum province, North West.
The North West province has
groomed and produced just
as any musicians and rappers
like Cassper Nyovest, Khuli
Chana, Tuks Senganga and the
late HHP amongst the others.
So it is no surprise that Afrika
is also a successful rapper
and has found his feet in the
Entertainment Industry and is
doing other greater things.
The choreographer, dancer,
rapper, and now company
owner that got his big break
into the music industry at
an early age had a normal
and dusty childhood just like
everyone else and also had a
dream of being of the most
successful and influential
people.
He first got his big break as a
choreographer and promoted
from his previous failures and
successes, with determination
and a vision, he launched
his own music record label-
Africa Hotlines. A media and
entertainment company that
aims to aims to identify and
groom up and upcoming
musicians
In 2018, after months of
promotion, Afrika released
his latest body of work called
Goldy. It is a music project
with 10 melodies and is
nothing short of freshness,
uniqueness and uplifting
energy.
Everyone of us had got some
things to prove as time goes
by, respectively in our work
departments. Afrika being of
one those that have to prove
his place in the Music Industry
and having a lot to gain vows
to release more other musical
projects and other projects.
Afrika became successful, no
matter the difficult obstacles
he has. He is currently one of
the very best that are regarded
as motivators, mentors
and inspirations. He is also
proof that hard work, pure
unremitting talent will get you
far in life.

Everything you need to know about the
5TYPES
OF
EYESHADOW
and how to use them
by Tamlyn Cumings
As always, the beauty world
can be a complex one, so
you are certainly not alone
if you feel bombarded and
overwhelmed by the range
of choices you have when it
comes to products.
Just have a look at the eyeshadows out
there; not only are you having to select the
colours and brand you want, but they’ve also
decided to make eyeshadow in a variety of
consistencies, just to confuse us! Well, not
quite – there actually are some valid uses for
the different types of eyeshadow, and we’re
here to tell you about them and how to use
them. You’re welcome!
1. POWDER EYESHADOW
Also known as pressed powder
since the pigment is pressed and
compacted into containers, this is
probably the most common of the
types of eyeshadow, and the one
everyone is familiar with.
Pressed eyeshadow is great for
beginners and those a bit more
cautious when it comes to make-up
as they are super forgiving, easy to
blend, and come in various palette
sizes and combinations, giving you
the perfect shades to use together.
Opt for a matte or shimmery finish
(we recommend that more mature
ladies stay away from ones that are
super shimmery, as these highlight
fine lines) and apply with your
favorite make-up brush or your
finger. Just remember to be gentle
and not pull on the skin – and
blend, blend, blend.
2. LIQUID EYESHADOW
You’d be forgiven for mistaking
liquid eyeshadow for lip gloss, as the
packaging and consistency is pretty
much identical. While they may
seem scary, they’re actually great
for those without a flair for make-up
as they are so easy to apply; simply
swish the wand over the lid, and
voila!
Just be warned that it does dry
pretty quickly, so you need to
move fast. A great use for liquid
eyeshadow is as the base for
powder or pigments as they will
stick to it, giving you a bolder look.
WATCH: How to clean your make-up
brushes
3. CREAM EYESHADOW
This versatile formula is a pretty
great one as it offers bold hues that
are super easy to blend – just get
your finger out and go wild.
Cream eyeshadow does tend to
crease, so you need to be careful
with where you place it on the lid.
If you’re worried about this, apply a
primer first.
Again, they make a great base for
your powder shadows, but you may
want to avoid cream shadows in
very hot weather, as they can melt
– and make-up running down your
face is certainly not a good look!
4. STICK OR CRAYON
EYESHADOW
These are ideal for keeping in your
handbag for touchups throughout
the day, as you don’t need a brush
to apply them, and they go on
super easily. They’re generally super
pigmented so the colour will really
pop, and they can even double up
as an eyeliner if you’re looking for
just a small pop of colour. Genius!
5. EYESHADOW
PIGMENTS
These are fantastic for their colour
range and boldness, but can be a
bit trickier and messier to apply. This
is similar to powder shadow, but is
far looser, so you definitely need a
primer for it to stick. Alternatively,
wet your brush before applying.
If you’re wanting to really stand
out, pigments will give you the best
colour intensity of the lot, but just
be careful not to drop pigment all
over the rest of your face!

shades on the
eyes, it’s time
to let out your
inner child
and embrace
the more-ismore
Bright neon
shades made
a splash on
just about all
the runways
in the run-up
to 2019, with
anything from
green eyeliner
and hot-pink
mascara
to orange
and blue
eyeshadow
trending.
2019 is
definitely
about having
fun with your
make-up
looks.
Embrace the heat following the
rising temperatures, beauty trends
for 2019 are set to make things a bit
easier for us, with sun-kissed and
glowing skin and wind-swept, justshowered
hair being all the rage.
Known as ‘heatwave beauty’, this
is all about natural, warm tones
that make it look like you’ve just
stepped off the beach… which
is perfect, since this is true for
many of us in January! No beach?
No problem! Simply get out
that bronzer, sea-salt spray and
shimmery bronze make-up and
fake it.
All that glitters Love it or hate
it, glitter make-up isn’t going
anywhere just yet! Glitter
eyeshadow is still going to be
trending up a storm and so is
making a hair statement with glitter
– for those of us who are brave
enough.
The trend has evolved slightly,
coming out in more jewel tones –
especially emerald – and is even
set to make appearances with foil
finishes on the likes of lips and
eyes.
Mellow yellow
If you’ve been paying attention,
you’ll notice that yellow make-up
has been slowly sneaking into our
lives. From nails to eyes, and even
cheeks, yellow will certainly be
around in a big way in 2019.
Yellow can be a tricky make-up
colour to master, so be sure to play
around with various shades to find
the one that best suits your skin
tone; you don’t want to look ill, but
rather bright and beautiful.
Heavenly hair
Those grey and light pink washes
are not going anywhere in 2019,
but both are getting a bit of a
Smokey make-over, giving the
colours a slightly more grown-up
look.
And if colourful hair is your thing,
balayage techniques will be seen
with all sorts of colourful tips, so
let your imagination run wild. For
those wanting to
stay more natural,
make sure your
hair looks ultraglossy
to stay ontrend.
Nutty nails
Nail art will still
be trending up
a storm, with an
added twist of
nail jewellery.
Yip, if loads of
accessories is
part of your look,
add a little jewel
or two to dangle
off of the tip of
your nail. If this
sounds a bit OTT
for you, just stick
to the fab nail
art you’ve been
getting.

KITCHEN CORNER
INCLUDING PROTEIN-RICH
FOODS IN YOUR SALAD
CAN HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR
WEIGHT-LOSS GOALS.
Protein and
weight loss
Adding protein to your salad
can not only make it more appetising
and flavoursome, but it
will also help you to build more
muscle. Building muscle is great
for weight loss as it can help you
to burn more calories.
Which protein-rich
foods to add to salads?
Consider adding thinly sliced
pieces of roast chicken or
perhaps even little blocks of
smoked chicken to your salad.
You can alternatively add some
boiled eggs, salmon, tuna or
even shrimp to your salad. You
will be pleasantly surprised at
how delicious these ingredients
can taste in a salad if you have
never tried them before!
Vegetarian?
If you are a vegetarian, don’t
worry – there are options for you
too! Simply try adding some
cooked beans or perhaps even
some tofu to your salad. You will
not be able to resist the taste,
absolutely delicious!
Added bonus
Apart from helping you to build
muscle, protein will also help
you to stay full for longer. This
is great for weight loss as it will
help keep cravings at bay.

Parties scheduled during the
day allow for a more relaxed, casual
look. If the event is at night,
you may want a more upscale
garment and include more ornate
accessories.[5]
o For men, a white dress shirt
under a solid-colored blazer
gives off a more daytime feel.[6]
HOW TO
DRESS FOR
a Cocktail Party
Co-authored by wikiHow Staff |23 References
Outfit (for Women)Choosing an Outfit (for Men)Community Q&A23
If you have ever received an invitation to a cocktail party, you may
know how tough the preparation process can be, especially when
you're trying to decipher what "cocktail attire" actually consists of.
By learning how to narrow down the list of possibilities, you can
save all of your energy for socializing and snacking.
Method 1
Following the General Cocktail
Etiquette
Read the invite. Consider
the details around the event itself,
like where it’s located and
who is hosting it. You can suss
out proper attire by judging how
upscale the event is, or by how
well you know the host.[1]
Dress for the season. Pastel
colors and floral prints, which
fit in with the spring, don’t have
as much of a place in the fall.
Likewise, consider the practicality
of certain items from season
to season. Open-toes shoes in
the summer will have an entirely
different feeling, both in comfort
and style, in the winter.[3]
o Wearing too much formal
black outside during the day
can often give off a solemn vibe.
Wear a knee-length
cocktail dress. Opt for one
that is flattering to you. Since
there is an overwhelming number
of styles, a good rule of
thumb is to choose simple, elegant
styles over revealing ones.
[7]
o The little black dress (LBD)
is usually a safe bet for cocktail
parties due to its timeless look
and conservative aesthetic.[8]
Save the minidress for
less formal parties. Before
choosing a minidress, consider
the event you are attending.
Have you been acquainted
with everyone? If not, you might
opt for something longer.[9]
o If you do choose a mini, pay
attention that the hemline is not
too short by standing straight
up with your arms at your side.
If your fingers pass the hemline,
you should reconsider if it’s appropriate.[10]
The meaning of "cocktail party"
can change from city to city, so
do some research if you’re traveling.[2]
You may find that your
prep is easier than you thought.
Contact the host for details
or recommendations.
If you know who the host is, you
may already know their aesthetic
and can gear yours to what
you know they would appreciate.
If you still aren't sure, reach
out to the host for clarification.
o Keep in mind how adding
layers might change what your
original outfit says about you. If
you add layers, add it for style
and functionality.
o If you’re traveling for an
event during the wet season,
bring along extra shoes.
o For example, opt for booties
over open-toe stilettos in the
winter.[4]
Dress for the time of day.
Choose a midi dress as
a longer option. Be careful
with this dress because its hem,
which sits between the ankle
and knee, can appear unflattering
on some people. To break
the long lines up, add dressier
accessories, like a large necklace.
[11]
o Dresses that drop below
the ankles become gowns and
should be saved for very formal
events, like white tie parties.[12]
34 ROYAL ROUGE / OCTOBER 2018 / ISSUU.COM/ROYALROUGEMAGAZINE

Wear a suit. The best
outfit will showcase
your personality and
confidence, and
sometimes dresses
don’t do that. Opt for
a slimmer suit with a
womenswear jacket,
which will hit at your
waist instead of below
it. For a less fitted
style, choose a relaxed,
slouchy style instead of
boxy.[13]
o Alternatively, wear tailored
pants with a detailed top, but
avoid fabrics like jersey and
denim, which can be too casual.
Choose shoes for style and
comfort. Unless the shoes are
used to highlight or accent
something, choose heels or
boots that don’t distract from
your outfit.[14]
o If you don’t wear heels,
UNDERSTANDING
Hip Hop Culture
1. Introduction
There are a couple of reasons
why I decided to choose this
topic for my thesis. One of these
reasons is that I have been
listening to hip hop for many
years and it is nice to write a
thesis about something one is
related to. The second reason
is that when one says the word
hip hop today, people usually
visualize some people festooned
with spectacular jewellery
rapping about becoming rich
and successful. The truth is that
this is just what people can see
on TV today, but this kind of
style and making music relates
just to a fraction of all hip hop
artists. In the upshot, it will be
explained later, why this topic is
so popular among rappers. The
third reason is that I wanted to
deepen my knowledge about
the origin and the history of hip
hop and also about everything
that is an integral part of it,
because that someone listens
to some kind of music, does
not necessarily mean that they
know everything important that
is connected with it.
In these days, hip hop surrounds
us really everywhere, whether it
is on TV in the form of movies,
music shows, or commercials,
on the radio, or just in the
streets, where various public
places age tagged, or when
groups of young people make
shows by breaking or rapping
in front of randomly passing
people in order to either make
some money, or just have fun
and show what they can do.
Shortly, nearly everyone has a
certain idea about what is hip
hop. But in my opinion, hip
hop is such a complex area
that includes music, dance,
art such as graffiti, fashion,
and many other fields which
are connected with it, which
still needs to be introduced
and therefore the aim of this
thesis is to make the further
acquaintance of hip hop not
only as a musical style, but as
a whole phenomenon of hip
hop culture which has been
spreading among youth
especially through the media
across the whole world.
For a start, this thesis will define
and explain further the terms
hip hop and rap, will describe
what these two words stand
for, and also will make clear
that there is a basic difference
between them, although it does
not have to seem so at the first
sight.
In this study will be also
introduced and described
in detail the four essential
elements of hip hop culture –
Djing, MCing, graffiti art, and
b-boying – which each of them
existed separately for some time,
but whose combination was
crucial for the birth of hip hop.
There will be also included
information about the
characteristics of hip hop as a
musical style regarding on the
one hand the music part and
on the other hand the part of
lyrics. This thesis will introduce
some of the important and
popular subgenres of hip hop,
into which this musical style
is divided, and which differ in
their sound properties and the
thematic focus of lyrics.
It is also important to discuss
the origin and the history of hip
hop to be able to understand its
development and also the point,
to which hip hop got in recent
years. In this display of history,
which is about four decades
long, will be included the
dates of the significant events
that somehow influenced and
changed hip hop, or were
important for its development
such as releases of many
influential and key albums
and records, an information
about successes and failures
of various hip hop artists, and
many other types of data, which
are connected with hip hop
culture. The causes and the
course of the two major conflicts
between American hip hop
artists from either different cities,
or even the opposite coasts such
as The Bridge Wars in the 1980s
and the East Coast vs. West
Coast rivalry in the 1990s will be
also mentioned.
The last chapter of this thesis
will occupy itself with several
themes that very often become
the topics of lyrics in a large
number of American hip
hop songs. There is always a
reason, why a particular theme
becomes popular or widely
used among hip hop artists,
and it is very important to know
this cause, because it can be
very helpful for understanding
the lyrics that rappers use to
create their songs. The reasons,
why rappers chose the themes,
which will be mentioned at the
end of this study, will not be
omitted too.
2. What is Hip Hop?
There are several mistakes that
circulate among people. For
example, a lot of people think
that hip hop is only a musical
style and that hip hop and rap
is the same thing. Therefore,
I would like to explain some
terms that are concerned with
hip hop at the beginning of this
study.
Firstly, hip hop definitely is not
only a musical style, it includes
a large number of areas and
music is just one of them. It is
quite difficult to define hip hop
because of its complexity, but
there are several definitions
of this phenomenon such as
“a US pop culture movement
originating in the 1980s
comprising rap music, graffiti
and break dancing”1 or a “
popular urban youth
culture, closely associated
with rap music and with the
style and fashions of African-
American inner-city residents.”2
In my opinion, the most
precious definition of hip hop
can be found in Martin Fiedler’s
Hip hop Forever: “Hip hop is
a lifestyle with a developed
and colourful culture, its own
language, and fashion style,
specific kind of music and
thinking, which is constantly
developing.”3
Another interesting opinion
of what hip hop is, belongs
to DJ and MC TC Izlam, who
claims: “Hip hop is just a way of
thinking, state of mind. To be
a hip hopper means to think
freely.”4
The second mistake that hip
hop and rap can be used
synonymously is also very
common among people
who do not understand this
issue. From the definitions that
are mentioned above is clear
what hip hop means. Rap is “a
rhythmic monologue with a
musical backing,”5 which means
that rap is just a lexical part of
hip hop music which is just one
of the several parts of whole hip
hop culture.
2.1 Characteristics
of Hip Hop
Culture
This chapter will occupy itself
with the characteristics of hip
hop culture that are represented
by its basic components and
other fields, which are in this
culture included. Hip hop
culture contains four essential
elements: DJing, MCing, graffiti
art and b-boying. DJing and
MCing symbolize a musical
part, b-boying stands for
a dance component, and
graffiti represents a visual art
constituent of this culture. Of
course, these four elements did
not originate at the same time,
but their combination enabled
hip hop to come into existence.
2.1.1 DJing
DJing is a fundamental means
to produce hip hop music. The
DJ is the abbreviation for the
phrase ‘disc jockey’ – a person,
who plays recorded, not live,
music or sound for an audience.
The very first disc jockeys were
radio DJs, who played the music
to radio listeners and in 1950s,
DJs started to perform “live” at
various parties. Americans were
always used to dancing at a bar
to music from a jukebox, but
paying for a DJ not playing “live”
music was not very common.
In 1973, DJ Kool Herc took
two turntables, which he
connected to a mixer and he
laid two identical records on
the turntables. The mixer helps
DJ in the smooth transition of
sound from one turntable to the
second one. Kool Herc played
a break of one record and the
same break of the second
record, which he could easily
repeat. This method is known
as “mixing breaks”6 or “creating
break
beats”7. Herc played the music
for an audience of dancers who
UPFRONT & PERSONAL
are known as b-
boys, or break boys, and
b-girls, or break girls. Under
the influence of DJ Kool Herc,
some of the b-boys such as
Grandmixer DXT and Kurtis
Blow became DJs too. Herc
contributed to development of
DJing by creating a huge mobile
sound system, because he knew
how to connect more speakers
and generate more electrical
power to be able to make a
louder sound.
Another innovative DJ was
Grandmaster Flash, who
brought to perfection
the Herc’s way of mixing two
records. He developed a theory
called a “quick mix
theory,”8 which is based upon
marking records and using a
headset to be able to hear how
is the second record combined
with the first one before the
audience can hear it via the
loudspeaker and make a fluent
transition from one record to the
other.
Grandwizard Theodore, a
pupil of Grandmaster Flash,
accidentally created a technique
of DJing called “scratching”. One
day of the year 1975, when he
was improving his DJing skills at
home, his mother told him to
turn down the volume. Because
he did not hear it, she entered
his room and he tried to stop
the music by laying his hand
on the playing record to stop
its spinning. By moving it back
and forward to keep the record
quiet and be able to listen to his
mother’s words, he noted that
this movement creates a unique
sound. It is necessary to mention
that this technique is commonly
used by DJs up to this day.
In the mid-1990s came to
the rise of the turntablism
movement, which caused the
DJing became again one of
the essential elements of Hip
Hop. It was a new generation of
DJs, who wanted to regain the

HOW TO
STUDY
SMART
Did you ever stop
to wonder what
sets apart the really
successful students
from the average ones?
Why do some students who
appear to study all the time
just get by, while others who
don’t appear to put in as much
time and effort do well?
Is it all related to IQ and
genetics or are some other
factors involved? The truth
is that success in school is
not so much determined
by
sheer intelligence as
knowing how to study.
Studying is a skill. Being
successful in school
requires a high level of
study
skills. Students must first
learn these skills, practice
them and develop
effective study habits in
order to be successful. Very
often the study habits
and practices developed
and used in high school do
not work for students in
college.
Good study habits
include many different
skills: time management,
selfdiscipline,
concentration,
memorization,
organization, and effort.
Desire
to succeed is important,
too.
In this module you will
discover your areas of
strength and identify your
weaknesses pertaining to
studying.
You will learn about your
preferred
learning channel, tips to
organize your studies, and
ways to help you
remember what you study.
The skills you will learn
about in this module can
be applied in other areas
of your life as well: your job,
your career, or any
activity that requires
thought, planning,
information processing,
and selfdiscipline.
You’ll find that once you
develop effective study
habits, the job of studying
and learning will become
easier. Instead of working
harder, you’ll be
working smarter.
YOUR LEARNING
PREFERENCE
Knowing how you learn
best is the first step in
developing effective study
habits.
Every student approaches
the task of learning
differently. Every student
has a
unique and personal
learning style or a
preferred channel
through which learning
comes more easily.
ASK YOURSELF
THE FOLLOWING:
Am I more inclined to
remember something better
when I see it, when I hear it,
or when I experience it or do
something active with it?
Depending on how you
learned the activity or game,
you will have a fair idea of
what learning channel –
visual (by sight), auditory (by
hearing), or hands on (by
doing)—you prefer to use.
We all use all three learning
channels. In fact, we use all
our senses in learning about
the world around us, but
each of us has a tendency to
lean more heavily on one of
the three learning channels
– visual, auditory, or hands
on. You can improve your
study habits by developing
all three learning channels.
When we talk about affairs, we often categorize them as
emotional, physical, or both. That’s helpful to some extent. Yet
nowadays, there’s another category that we can loosely call the
TEXTING AFFAIR.
An
oversimplified
scenario goes
like this: Your
spouse strikes up an oppositesex
friendship with a person
at work, spin or yoga class, the
gym, or through your child’s
school or extra-curricular
activities. For some reason,
they feel compelled to exchange
phone numbers. There’s no real
need for this, although your
spouse tells you that they need
to stay in touch because of work
or to coordinate fitness class,
the kid’s activities, etc.
Soon, their innocent texting
about work or scheduling
begins to escalate into personal,
ever more intimate texting.
Your spouse starts guarding
their cellphone and going into
the next room to text. They
lock their phone, change their
password and delete their text
history.
For a while, you bite your
tongue. After all, nobody
wants to be “that wife” or “that
husband.” You look the other
way and pretend not to notice
or be bothered. You force
yourself to not ask who your
spouse is texting and not show
how worried or hurt you are.
You lay awake and stare at your
partner’s phone, wishing you
could look through it but not
wanting to cross that line.
Finally, you crack.
Choosing your words
carefully, you ask your
partner who he or she
is texting. If you already know
who it is, you might tell your
partner that you are concerned
or feeling second-place. Or
perhaps you wait until your
partner is in the shower and
give in to the urge to scroll
through his or her phone. Either
way, you hear or see something
that makes your stomach sink.
Here’s where anything can
happen. Your spouse may
downplay the relationship and
shrug off your concerns, saying
“We’re just friends. You have to
trust me.” Or your spouse may
react with an angry, inflated
display of wounded indignation
by saying, “Oh, so I’m not
allowed to have ANY friends?”
He or she may turn the situation
around so that it’s you who
finds yourself explaining your
behavior. He or she may make
you feel paranoid, jealous,
controlling, or pathetic. “You
went through my phone! You’re
crazy. That’s private!”
Of course there are spouses who
are unreasonably jealous and
suspicious, and who behave in
controlling ways. Of course
RELATIONSHIPS
Unfortunately, there is no
formula to determine when
texting crosses the line into
betrayal. In fact, those who are
behaving in inappropriate ways
quickly learn how to blur this
line so that they can deflect and
continue to do what they’re
doing.In the end, you must
learn to trust your gut.
After all, no one knows your
marriage or your spouse better
all reasonable requests.
To prevent and overcome
infidelity, couples must learn to
build a loving, respectful and
protective “fortress” around
that they have formed a deep
bond. Too often what begins
as a cautious “hi...was thinking
of u” turns into “i miss u”
and then “can you meet again
tomorrow?” And when it gets to
that point, well, the whole thing
becomes a lot harder to “delete.”
cases I’ve dealt with in the past
several years, the vast majority
started out as “innocent” texting
insulating it from the invasive
effects of technology. That’s
something I talk a lot about in
my Couples in Crisis book.
Continued inaction or letting
the texting continue -- perhaps
out of fear of your partner’s
reaction -- only increases the
chances that your partner will
begin to see you as a nagging
barrier to the exciting and
fresh-faced relationship that he
or she enjoys via text messages.
Texting creates a false sense
of intimacy between texters.
Within weeks, they may feel
course some co-workers and
friends need to communicate
after-hours. Of course there
are unhappy marriages that
have deep problems. But that’s
not always the case. Suspicions
are often warranted. Anger,
defensiveness and indignation
may be covers for betrayal.
Explanations may be just
excuses. And all too often, a
texting affair steals so much
time, energy and emotion from
a marriage that a rift forms -- or
widens -- between spouses that
otherwise would have worked
through their marriage troubles.

“I’M HAPPY FOR HER!”
– Future backtracks on negative
comments about ex Ciara
Future has “no problems” with Ciara
and her husband Russell Wilson
The 35-year-old rapper – who has
a four-year-old son, also called Future,
with his former partner – has
claimed he’s “happy” for the lovedup
duo, despite recently accusing
the NFL player of failing to act “like
a man” in their relationship, but
admitted he had a problem relating
to his child.
He said: “We don’t have no problems.
It’s a social media problem.
No, I don’t hate him. Totally not
the deal. It was just the way we
were carrying it, as far as being
handled with baby Future.”
Future added that, despite of his
recent remarks, he doesn’t have
any negative feelings towards Russell,
who married Ciara in 2016 and
has a 20-month-old daughter Sienna
with her
He told the Durtty Boyz Show: “I
don’t have nothing against him,
and I’m happy for them.”
By contrast, Future previously
slammed Russell for allowing himself
to be dictated to by his wife.
The rapper also argued that the
NFL star ought to ban Ciara from
mentioning her ex-fiancé on her
social media accounts.
He said: “He do exactly what she
tell him to do. He’s not being a
man in that position. He not tellin’
her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet.
Don’t even talk to him, I’m
your husband! You better not even
bring Future’s name up!'”
The Fine China hitmaker – who
was engaged to Ciara at one point
during their relationship – went
on to say that if the situation were
reversed and he were married to
the singer, he would stop her from
“bringing her exes’ names up”.
He explained: “If that was me, she
couldn’t even bring his name up.
She know that. She couldn’t even
bring her exes’ names up. Don’t
give that s**t no energy.”
