Adult Water Acclimation – Overcome Your Fear of Water

The focus of these 30-minute sessions is to develop basic
water skills such as submerging, floating, treading water, and
building comfort in the deep water for adults. Increase your
confidence in the water by signing up for these friendly and
inviting sessions with an experienced instructor. Must bring
goggles.

Swim Lessons - Parent/Child / Swim
Parent/Child Stage 1: Water Acclimation

For Preschool age children who have never had swim lessons
without a parent or guardian or are afraid of the water.
Students develop comfort with underwater exploration and a
foundation that allows for a student's future progress in
swimming. By session end, children will be able to swim, float,
and swim assisted for 5 feet; and submerge their head under
water.

Parent/Child Stage A/B: Water Discovery

Accompanied by a parent and/or caregiver, infants and
toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop
swim readiness skills through fun and confidence-building
experiences, while parents and/or caregiver learn about
water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of
supervision.
