Soccer Classes & Clinics / Sports Preschool Soccer - Spring 2019 Saturday Y member rate: $55.00 Y non-member rate: $95.00 With a focus on developing basic soccer skills, team work and sportsmanship, this recreational league is perfect for young children of every ability. Volunteer coaches, mindful of the participants? ages, instruct on soccer skills such as kicking and hands-free play. Games are limited to one per week and occur on a Saturday or Sunday. A shirt and end of season participation award is included with registration. This recreational league is the perfect introduction to the sport of soccer. Volunteer coaches instruct children on soccer skills such as kicking and passing, while introducing basic game concepts. Games are limited to one per week and will occur on a Saturday or Sunday. A shirt and end of season participation award is included with registration. While advancing the participants? footwork skills in kicking, passing and shooting, volunteer coaches also lead soccer practice drills and teach game strategies. There is one practice during the week and one game on Saturday or Sunday. A shirt and end of season participation award is included with registration. Depending on participant numbers, travel for games may be required. Explore abilities, develop skills and find the confidence to pursue goals. Students will work on skills at their own level. From learning to place their face in the water to rotary breathing. Participants may be work on forward motion in the water or improving form to allow for multiple lap swim. All students work on skills as a group in a way that meets the individual needs.
