Prerequisite: Completion of Stage 3. For school age children who can swim 15 yards unassisted. Having mastered the<br />
fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skills and build stroke technique.<br />

Prerequisite: Completion of Stage 4. For school age children who can swim 25 yards unassisted and show endurance<br />
in the water with any stroke or combination of strokes. Students in stage 5 work on stroke technique and learn all<br />
major competitive strokes. The emphasis on water safety continues through treading water and sidestroke.<br />

Prerequisite: Completion of Stage 5. For school age children who can swim 50 yards unassisted and show endurance<br />
in the water with any stroke or combination of strokes. In stage 6 students refine stroke technique on all major<br />
competitive strokes, learn about competitive swimming, and discover how to incorporate swimming into a healthy<br />
lifestyle.<br />
