Baseball / Sports Youth Coach Pitch: Ages 6/7 Co-ed Saturday Y member rate: $85 Y non-member rate: $120 Here's the pitch...all kids get the chance to hit and play the field in this fun-filled instructional league. Volunteer coaches will lead kids through drills that teach the basics; throwing, catching, and hitting. This recreational league focuses on the development of individual skills, rules, and character that will challenge every child's ability. Volunteer coaches will lead the participants through the season, utilizing a curriculum that considers the physical, mental, and emotional stages of development. The season begins with multiple Skills and Drills sessions. The sessions allow coaches and staff to work with kids in small groups to prepare for the season, and for some age groups, to make evaluations for the benefit of competitive balance of teams.
