residence on Malibu Cove
Colony Drive. The victim
stated he had several workers
working at his residence
for several days before he
noticed the items missing.

bases valued at $6,000 reportedly
were stolen from
a residence on Harvester
Road, according to a Jan.
25 police report. An unknown
number of suspects
allegedly entered the yard
of the residence through an
unlocked gate to commit
the theft, which occurred
between Jan. 24-25. The alleged
victim said he stored

Docents sought to conduct
tours of Malibu Lagoon,
Adamson House
California State Parks is
seeking volunteers/docents
to conduct public tours at
the Adamson House and
Malibu Lagoon.
To qualify, individuals
must complete a six-week
training course during
which they will learn how
to conduct effective tours of
the historic properties. The
three-and-a-half-hour training
sessions are to be held
weekly on Wednesday afternoons,
from Feb. 20 through
March 27.
Throughout the course of
training, individuals are to
hear from expert speakers
on topics such as Rindge/
Adamson Family history,
architecture, artists and tile
design, Chumash history
and the biological diversity
of the Malibu Lagoon.
Docents are expected to

them for sale on

Beauty Collection, located
at 3900 Cross Creek Road.
A store worker stated that
a male and female entered
the store and walked directly

declined. About a minute
later, both suspects left
the store. Police reviewed

opened Friday, Feb. 1, at
the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation
Westlake Campus,
Suite #116, 1 Dole Drive,

The DLOC will operate
from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday
through Friday. No appointment
is necessary.
SBA customer service
representatives will be at

LASD receives $1.9 million
traffic safety grant
The California Office
of Traffic Safety awarded
a $1.9 million grant to the
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s
Department to support
a year-long traffic enforcement
and public awareness
program.
According to LASD, the
funds are to be used for:
DUI checkpoints; saturation
patrols for impaired
and unlicensed drivers as
well as areas with high rates
