Men's Shed The Men’s Shed are getting ready to move into their new home at the Barkly Street site. The Men’s Shed will lease the site from BGT, providing greater scope for partnership between BGT and The Salvation Army. Ten regional AFL recruits came on 15 January to help clean up the site. There are a couple of practical issues to work out and lease issues to resolve before the Men’s Shed can move in. We look forward to the having the Men’s Shed and The Salvation Army Ballarat Community Church in the same neighbourhood. B A L L A R A T S A L V O S | 1 5

It is run under the motto “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action,” and is celebrated annually in over 170 countries on the first Friday in March. The movement aims to bring together women of various races, cultures and traditions in a yearly common Day of Prayer, as well as in closer fellowship, understanding and action throughout the year.” (World of Prayer, 2019). Last year, 30 000 Australians shared in 965 prayer services. We look forward to another inspirational World Day of Prayer, both in Ballarat and beyond. It will be our 92nd year of Australian commitment to this international, intercultural and interdominational tsunami of prayer around our planet with 24 hours.
