annually by Seven Lakes News Corporation. 

Well the past week we all enjoyed the 

fantastic weather, sunny in the 70’s 

absolutely perfect. You can tell that 

Spring is right around the corner. 

With Spring approaching we will have 

new features and stories celebrating 

this time of year. 

We will have a few landscaping and 

gardening articles in the next issue. I 

can’t wait until everyone has flowers 

in abundance and the dogwoods continue 

turning color. 

If you are considering adding a furry 

friend to your family please consider 

visiting the adoption center. I’m told 

that lots of dogs are abandoned and 

come to the shelters due to folks attaining 

later age in life and have no 

choice when entering rest homes. 

In this edition we feature stories on

Also, the debate continues as to

next car or truck. The old adage instilled 

in our family from my father-inlaw,

THE MARKET REPORT: 

There are 39 homes for sale in Seven Lakes North, 

South and West combined. 

There are 11 homes pending and 97 homes have sold 

in the past 6 months (7/1/2017 -1/1/2018). 

The median sale price over the past 6 months 

was $255,000. (down $9,000 from the last 

report) and median days on the market 123 (up 3 

days from the last report). 

Of the 97 homes sold in the past 6 months, 33 had a 

price reduction prior to selling. Median reduction is 

just under 8% of the list price. 

Inventory is low now and expected to increase starting 

in March. It’s a good time to start preparing your home 

for the Spring selling season. Declutter, freshen up 

flooring and walls, and go ahead and get on your 

landscaper and powerwasher’s schedule for the 

Spring.

hack. 

With an unprotected fob, thieves can 

intercept the signal from the fob to a 

car with a special receiver, known as 

a “relay attack”. 

They can then use this to enter the 

car and even turn on the ignition. 

But there’s a simple solution, as it 

appears just wrapping your fob in 

foil prevents the signals from being 

transmitted. 

“Although it’s not ideal, it is the most 

inexpensive way,” Holly Hubert, a cybersecurity 

expert, told the Detroit 

Free Press. “The cyber threat is so dynamic 

and ever changing, it’s hard for 

consumers to keep up.”
