Project Roof<br />
Thanks to a generous grant of<br />
$8,140 from the Queensland<br />
Gam<strong>in</strong>g Commission we were able<br />
to have our roof repaired and<br />
treated. We hope that this marks<br />
the end of our problems with water<br />
damage and thanks to the heat<br />
<strong>in</strong>sulat<strong>in</strong>g qualities of the material<br />
applied dur<strong>in</strong>g the treatment<br />
process, we should also notice a<br />
drop <strong>in</strong> our electricity consumption<br />
from runn<strong>in</strong>g the aircondition<strong>in</strong>g<br />
system.<br />
<strong>The</strong> company appo<strong>in</strong>ted for the<br />
treatment was Advanced Asbestos<br />
Coat<strong>in</strong>g and the coat<strong>in</strong>g has<br />
extended the lifespan of the roof<br />
plus improved <strong>in</strong>sulat<strong>in</strong>g qualities,<br />
and <strong>in</strong> general the condition of the<br />
roof is sound, so well worth the<br />
<strong>in</strong>vestment.<br />
