1 - KEG COUPLER<br />
ROLE<br />
IN SYSTEM<br />
Engages the keg valve & allows liquid to leave the keg & travel to the tap.<br />
Allows beer gas to enter the keg & push the beer along the lines to the tap.<br />
MAINTENANCE<br />
Should be completely dissembled every 90 days, cleaned & serviced.<br />
Should be soaked in beer line cleaning solution every 14 days<br />
when beer lines are cleaned.<br />
TROUBLE<br />
SHOOTING<br />
There are 3 washers that need to be checked:<br />
- Bottom seal washer which seals the coupler to the keg head.<br />
- 2 x Internal washers used to seal the keg probe.<br />
If these degrade it will lead to pressure changes & FOAMING BEER. No Beer:<br />
- Check that coupler is ENGAGED!<br />
