huge mountains, rugged foothills, deep canyons, and the world’s
largest trees, which grow only on the western slopes of the Sierra
Nevada in California, between 4,000 and 8,000 feet in elevation.
A local naturalist leads you on an informative walk to the world’s
largest tree — the General Sherman Tree, and to an overlook of the
dynamic landscape of Kings Canyon. A steam train ride and al fresco
dinner in the Sierra National Forest round out this imposing tour.
