A muffled snicker caused Christina to whirl<br />
around. It was Grant! Standing behind her on a<br />
bench, he was directing a sunbeam on her neck with<br />
his jumbo magnifying glass.<br />
She grabbed for it and yelled, “Are you trying to<br />
catch my ponytail on fire!?”<br />
Grant dodged, hopped <strong>of</strong>f <strong>the</strong> bench, and wove<br />
through tourists like a snake on a busy highway.<br />
Christina chased in hot pursuit, her long, chestnutcolored<br />
hair slipping out <strong>of</strong> its ribbon and flying<br />
wildly around her face.<br />
She caught Grant’s shirt, but tripped on a loose<br />
brick. Both slid across sprinkler-soaked grass.<br />
“Give me that magnifying glass!” she ordered,<br />
wrestling it from his hands.<br />
“Don’t forget Philadelphia’s nickname,” Grant<br />
said between giggles. “You can’t hurt me! We’re in<br />
<strong>the</strong> City <strong>of</strong> Bro<strong>the</strong>rly Love!”<br />
