Festival Office
The History Hub @ The Grosvenor Museum is providing
enquiry and booking services for the Festival. The Hub is
open from 10:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday:

Accessibility
Walks around Chester typically include steps and uneven
surfaces. However, guides can modify the route of some walks
to enable wheelchair users to participate in the walk. Please
contact the festival office at least two full working days before
the event for further details.
Venues for many events are in historic buildings and some can
only be accessed by stairs, these include Bishop Lloyd’s Palace,
the Cathedral Library and Grosvenor Rowing Club. The main
entrance to the Riverside Museum is via stairs: with advanced
notice alternative access can be arranged.
Children’s Activities
All children should be accompanied by a responsible adult,
whether drop-in events or bookable events, whatever the
booking arrangements.
Chester Park and Ride
Enjoy exploring the city this summer with the Park and Ride
bus services.
Kids go free ( under 16’s travelling with a paying adult ) and
you can save on parking fees with all day ticket only £2 .
Services run regularly during the day time from four sites:
Boughton Heath - off A41, CH3 5QD; Sealand Road - on A548
opposite car dealerships, CH1 4LD; Upton - Chester Zoo, CH2 4BA;
Wrexham Road - off A483 opposite Business Park, CH4 9DQ.
