<strong>Festival</strong> Office<br />

The History Hub @ The Grosvenor Museum is providing<br />

enquiry and booking services for the <strong>Festival</strong>. The Hub is<br />

open from 10:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday:<br />

telephone 01244 972115.<br />

Accessibility<br />

Walks around <strong>Chester</strong> typically include steps and uneven<br />

surfaces. However, guides can modify the route of some walks<br />

to enable wheelchair users to participate in the walk. Please<br />

contact the festival office at least two full working days before<br />

the event for further details.<br />

Venues for many events are in historic buildings and some can<br />

only be accessed by stairs, these include Bishop Lloyd’s Palace,<br />

the Cathedral Library and Grosvenor Rowing Club. The main<br />

entrance to the Riverside Museum is via stairs: with advanced<br />

notice alternative access can be arranged.<br />

Children’s Activities<br />

All children should be accompanied by a responsible adult,<br />

whether drop-in events or bookable events, whatever the<br />

booking arrangements.<br />

<strong>Chester</strong> Park and Ride<br />

Enjoy exploring the city this summer with the Park and Ride<br />

bus services.<br />

Kids go free ( under 16’s travelling with a paying adult ) and<br />

you can save on parking fees with all day ticket only £2 .<br />

Services run regularly during the day time from four sites:<br />

Boughton Heath - off A41, CH3 5QD; Sealand Road - on A548<br />

opposite car dealerships, CH1 4LD; Upton - <strong>Chester</strong> Zoo, CH2 4BA;<br />

Wrexham Road - off A483 opposite Business Park, CH4 9DQ.<br />
