GRINDELWALD

Family fun in the snow with a
stunning setting in the ski resort of
Grindelwald. Known for the famous
Eiger North Face, fantastic skiing,
long sledge runs and panoramic
winter walks the village is the ideal
setting to enjoy some family time
in the snow.
Take your first steps on skis as a
family, have fun on sleds, balancers
and snow tubes on the sunny
slopes of the bodmiArena. Try one
of the exhilarating tobogganing
runs Grindelwald is known for
and have a relax day to explore
Grindelwald and surrounds.
DAY 1 Arrival in Switzerland and
onward transfer to Grindelwald.
If time allows go for a fitting of
your ski equipment rental for the
following day. Overnight Hotel
Kreuz & Post on a half board basis.
DAY 2 Make your way to the
beginner’s ski area in Grindelwald
for your family ski lesson of 2.5
hours by a qualified instructor.
For the rest of the day enjoy the
facilities of the bodmiArena with
sledding, tubing and carpet rides.
DAY 3 Tobogganing fun on
Männlichen. Take the gondola
to the top, enjoy lunch at the
Berghaus restaurant and the
fantastic views into the valley
before picking up your sledges for
an exhilarating 1 hour run down
the 4.5km long run to Holenstein.
Leave the sledges here and return
to Grindelwald.
DAY 4 Departure or option to
extend your stay.

LEARN TO SKI IN 3 DAYS
GRINDELWALD
DAILY DEPARTURES 15 DEC – 17 MAR
This package includes 3 days of
group lessons starting Sunday
or Monday, rail transfers from
the airport to the resort,
accommodation on a half board
basis – so everything is taken care
off. Grindelwald has a lively après
ski scene and panoramic views
from most ski runs. In short – an
ideal setting for a first ski holiday.
PROGRAM:
DAY 1: Arrival in Switzerland and
onward transfer to Grindelwald.
If time allows go for a fitting of
your ski equipment and clothing.
DAY 2-4: Join your beginner’s
class at the bodmiArena for an
intensive 3 hour group lesson
from 10am to 1pm. After a
deserved lunch break you can
continue using the bodmiArena
to enhance the skills you learnt
during the day. If you advance
quickly or are accompanied by
an experienced skier ask your
ski school for an appropriate ski
pass to cover skiing outside the
beginners area of Bodmi.
DAY 5: Departure or extend your
holiday to a full week.
BEGINNERS PACKAGE:
Adult group classes are kept
small at our partner ski school
in Grindelwald thus providing a
basic set of ski skills in three days.
Ski pants and jackets are also
included. This package can also be
booked with ski lessons on 5 days.
WE LIKE
An all inclusive beginners ski
holiday with plenty of flexibility
- you might want to add more
lessons or hit the gentler blue
slopes on your own.
