Mamata (now 5 years old) received an
educational scholarship. She enjoys going
to pre-school and she has a lot of friends.
Mamata is so excited that she is going to
primary school next year.

Maya with the Gift of Love of a
sewing machine she received.

my hands to make clothes and
earn money.”
Maya completed a 6 month design course
and learnt to sew beautiful garments.
She can now sell clothes in a nearby
community and earn a living to support
her family.
Praise God that 12 years ago Maya heard
the gospel at Anandaban Hospital and
gave her life to the Lord.
She now travels 40 minutes on the bus
to go to church every week with Mamata.
She feels blessed and has a sense of
belonging at church.

leprosy affected families, but The Leprosy
Mission works hard to open school doors.
Because leprosy makes life in poverty
even more difficult, families cannot usually
afford school materials. But your Gifts of
Love help them afford a uniform, books and
pens.
