Jeffrey Parker, an independent agent with UnitedHealthcare, can help you gain a better understanding of the Medicare options. Friday, Nov. 1 “The Beauty of Pencil Art” - Bill Shoemaker Bill Shoemaker is here to discuss The Beauty of Pencil Art. He will discuss the therapeutic methods for pencil art and the different methods of capturing your art piece with just a few brushes of pencil. Friday, Dec. 6 “Reverse Mortgage Loans 101” - Holland Financial Are you having trouble understanding the information on loans? Holland Financial is here to explain the ins and outs of Reverse Mortgage Loans. Adults/Seniors Discover Trips Bring your friends or meet new ones on all-day adventures with Discover Trips. The registration fee includes: round-trip, motor coach transportation to and from destination and admission fees for the attraction. Payment is due at the time of registration. Limited number of spaces available so register early. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is required. Alhambra Dinner Theatre- Mamma Mia The Alhambra stands proudly as the nation’s oldest continuously operating equity dinner theater. As we end the summer, let’s sing and dance with Mamma Mia! This musical, full of female empowerment, celebrates the theme of friendship and love as inspired by ABBA’s greatest hits. Date: Friday, Sept. 13 Time: 5-11pm (depart from and return to Palm Coast Community Center) Location: Jacksonville Fee: $75 (dinner included in price) - registration deadline: Aug. 29 Register: parksandrec.fun/adults Historic Tour of Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Through a one-hour guided walking tour, learn about Cassadaga’s historic, unique, and mysterious beginnings and the spirit activity that still goes on in the historical homes of present day mediums. Date: Friday, Oct. 11 Time: 12:45-5pm (depart from and return to Palm Coast Community Center) Location: Cassadaga Fee: $65 (lunch NOT included in price) - registration deadline: Oct. 3 Register: parksandrec.fun/adults Festival of the Trees Back by popular demand! Let’s get into the holiday spirit by visiting the spectacular holiday extravaganza. It features the most beautiful decorated trees and holiday treasures. Local artists and designers decorate dozens of trees with glitter lights, homemade ornaments, and holiday vignettes, along with custom-made wreaths and gingerbread houses.
