DAY 4: Moscow – St Petersburg
Start your day with a visit to the Kremlin, the
symbol of Russia’s political power. A 14thcentury
walled fort, the complex is dazzling
and thought-provoking. Comfortable shoes
are a must for this tour of the Armoury
Museum and the diamond regalia. You will
also see the five-domed Assumption Cathedral
and Annunciation and Archangel churches.
Take the high-speed train to St Petersburg
where you will be met and driven to your
hotel. Known as the Venice of the North for its
network of canals, you can explore at leisure.

DAY 5: St Petersburg
The second largest museum in the world, the
State Hermitage Museum was commissioned
by Catherine the Great in 1764 as a court
museum, adjoining the Winter Palace. This
morning, you can view some of the huge
collection which includes works by da Vinci,
Rembrandt, Rubens, Picasso, Monet, and
Matisse with your guide. Not to mention the
ostentatious imperial rooms. Don’t miss the
Ambassador’s Staircase, the Throne Room,
and the Ballroom. After lunch, you will have
the afternoon to explore this cultural city.

DAY 6: St Petersburg

Peek inside the Hermitage’s vaults with a
