BBNaija’s Diane
claims her virginity
is intact, may not
have sex till marriage
By TOLULOPE ABEREOJE
n the wake of the many sexual escapades in the Big Brother
INaija house, Diane said during a game with fellow housemates,
Omashola and Elo on Friday that she plans on staying away from
sex until marriage.
The BBNaija housemate made the remark while responding to
Elo on the last time she had sex. Going down memory lane, she
recalled how her aunt once made her take a vow using the Bible
to stay away from sex until marriage. She however, stated that
she would give up on her vow if she meets a man she truly loves.
“When I was younger, around 10 or 11, I went to see my
cousin and her mother was telling us about how she kept
herself till she got married. She told us that one thing that
kept her was that she made a vow with God to stay pure, after
which she now made us make a vow using the Bible to stay
pure till marriage. At 23, I could wait or find someone to
confuse my head and I will give it out,” she said.
Recall that evicted housemate, Nelson once admitted to
pushing for a relationship with Diane. Nelson said he stopped
gunning for a relationship with Diane after Tuoyo told him he
had an interest in her.
Being single for 12 years with a
son has been my toughest years
—Adediwura Blarkgold
It was not only Toyin Abraham and fiance, Kolawole Ajeyemi that were assailed
with waves of congratulations on Thursday, Voluptuous Yoruba actress and mother
of one, Adediwura Blarkgold was also overwhelmed with goodwill messages when
she broke the news of her engagement with a video that has since gone viral
brandishing her engagement ring.
The actress who has become popular with her son surprised many
including Potpourri when she made the announcement. In several
social media posts the ebony beauty has claimed that the only man
in her life is her teenage son, giving no hint whatsoever that there
may be a man pulling her chestnut out of the fire.
In a chat with Potpourri the actress opened up on the
engagement and how her son comes into the details.
“Been single for 12 years with a son to cater for “alone” has
been the toughest years so far. Honestly, it was terribly tough
but I thank god today. Sometimes, when I think of a day
like now, I put my son into consideration first, being my
priority. I find it difficult to take this bold step with a lot of
phrases like What if,” she said.
“I consider my son’s feelings, acceptance and love. I
had to wait till this time just for him to be of age and by
God’s grace he will be 14 in 6 months.Also, I fought an
internal battle within me for years trying to conquer
the previous experiences that I had in my former
marriage so as not to bring it to my future. I just
have to take this bold step having found
someone I love totally. He helped me to kill
the spirit of ‘I can’t’ move on’. Thank god
my son loves him and we all love him,”
she added.
The Nollywood damsel, is in her
forties and a graduate of English
from Lagos State University and
has been acting since 2008. Her
friends and fans call her the
Blarkgold on account of a role
she played at a point in her
26-year-old classroom teacher, Temitope A, has become N2 million richer after winning Betways’ African Cup of Nations prediction
A jackpot.
Betway, an internationally recognised and reliable online betting provider, had offered bettors on its platform a chance to win big by
predicting multiple games during the recently concluded football competition hosted in Egypt.
Temitope, a dedicated football fan, was one of many bettors who grabbed the unique opportunity offered by Betway to predict games for free.
The Osun State native couldn’t believe his luck when he was notified of his win from the betting platform he says he has been using since 2018.
“I was very very happy… I wanted to scream but I was invigilating in an exam hall,” the Arsenal fan says after receiving his money.
Speaking on Temitope’s win, Betway Country Manager, Lere Awokoya says, “Betway is a betting giant that offers the highest odds, fast
payouts and good customer care to assist players. That is why many Nigerian bettors are interested in placing their wagers on the platform”.
jackpot games, and a number of exciting promotions.
Don’t rush out
of your marriage,
you may never
find someone
better
—Uche Elendu
By TOLULOPE ABEREOJE
N
ollywood actress,
Uche Elendu
recently shared a post on
her Instagram page in
which she warned men
not to take any good
woman they have in their
lives for granted.
According to her, when a
man decides to leave a woman
who loves him genuinely
despite his flaws to look for
someone better, he may not be
very lucky. Elendu also made it
known that women make huge
sacrifices for their relationships
to work. But when and if they
discover that they are the only one
putting in all the hard work
needed, they leave the
relationship with hurt feelings.
“Good women are scarce.
When you get one, don’t mess
with her or go out thinking
you will find someone
better. You just may not be
that lucky. Appreciate
your woman. Not all
women are
materialistic; most of
them just want a
man who is loyal,
caring, loving and
understanding.
Any other thing is a
plus if you’re
privileged to have it. A
lot of women make huge
sacrifices just to protect their
marriages or relationships, the
tears, the battles both emotional,
physical, spiritual battles they
fight, the pain, financial input,
betrayal and the
disappointments, and yet, they
don’t give up easily till it dawns
on them that they’ve actually
been in a relationship with
themselves,” she said.
