Advanced study in engineering at a graduate school sometimes presupposes the<br />
completion of an accredited program of undergraduate study.<br />
The following undergraduate programs are accredited by the EAC of ABET: Biomedical<br />
Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth and Environmental<br />
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.<br />
Policy on Degree Requirements<br />
The Committee on Instruction and faculty of The Fu Foundation School of Engineering<br />
and Applied Science review degree requirements and curricula matters each year, and the<br />
Academic Bulletin reflects these faculty recommendations and curricular changes in its<br />
yearly reprinting. School policy requires students to fulfill all general degree<br />
requirements as stated in the Academic Bulletin of the first year of their matriculation<br />
into the School. <strong>Student</strong>s declare their major during the first semester of their sophomore<br />
year. Requirements for the major or minor are in accordance with the Academic Bulletin<br />
during the year in which the student declares the major or minor.<br />
