Located in the picturesque Eskdale Valley and convenient for the
Western Fells of Lakeland, Scarfell, Great Gable and Wastwater,
the Bower House Inn has been welcoming travellers through its
doors for over 250 years.
Guests have a choice of 20 en-suite guest rooms that are
situated in either the old coaching inn or the barn. All have a
flat screen TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer and WiFi and consist of
singles, twins and doubles plus one family room.
The restaurant and bar is a welcoming space throughout the
year. Warm up around the open fire with a glass of local ale and
enjoy a menu with lots of ingredients locally sourced, including
vegetables and herbs from the inn’s own garden. On warmer
days, we recommend you head to the pretty garden and take in
the breathtaking views of Muncaster Fell.
