TREATING THE CUSTOMER RIGHT<br />
“I’m very fortunate to have what I consider the best installation<br />
team in the city. They are seasoned and understand how to treat<br />
our customers and jobs,” Tim said. “We’ve been around for almost<br />
50 years and it’s because we’re fair, honest and go above and<br />
beyond for our customers. We want our customers to not only feel<br />
like family, but we want them to feel we treated them like family.<br />
“I believe our customer service sets us apart. We’re not finished<br />
with a job until the customer is 100% satisfied with our work.”<br />
CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS<br />
Tim noted, the most difficult part of the business is in the<br />
summertime when they are deluged with calls about non-working<br />
air conditioners. “We try our best to get everyone taken care of<br />
ASAP, but it’s impossible to. I feel for the customers that have<br />
to wait a week or more for a service call or install, but we do our<br />
best to loan out our portable air conditioners until we’re able to<br />
come by.”<br />
Among his favorite experiences is when he is called to fix a<br />
system after service techs from other companies can’t diagnose<br />
the problem. “I can usually find the issue within a few minutes.<br />
It doesn’t always happen like that, but quite often it does. After<br />
replacement or service and the home is comfortable again, the<br />

Tim is a board member of the local ACCCO (Air Conditioning<br />
<strong>Contractor</strong>s of Central <strong>Ohio</strong>) chapter and is active on the state<br />
board, including the Emerging <strong>Contractor</strong>s group whose mission<br />
is to improve the industry for future generations of plumbers and<br />
HVAC <strong>Contractor</strong>s.<br />
“I first joined ACCCO after my grandfather was inducted into the<br />
ACCA Hall of Honor. After several years of being a local member<br />
of the association and having a seat on their board, I then joined<br />
ACCO at the state level. Since becoming a member, I have been<br />
able to see how hard the association works on behalf of the HVAC<br />
world and sets standards for our industry,” Tim said.<br />
“Being a member of ACCO makes me feel like my ideas are<br />
being heard. Aside from the incentives, that truly pay for the<br />
membership itself, I’ve also gained from networking and the<br />
many contractors I’ve met along the way that have given me<br />
advice. I am able to utilize that in my own company to help it run<br />
smoother and more efficiently.”<br />
“Even though we are all competing against each other every day<br />
for all the possible customers, at the end of the day we’re all here<br />
to help the industry and each other. That’s what I like most about<br />
ACCO.<br />
Outside of his job responsibilities, Tim found time to undertake<br />
a kitchen remodel in his house, a complete DIY job, even making<br />
his own cabinets by hand. He also enjoys spending time with his<br />
fiancée, Ashley. They like to travel, spend time with their pets,<br />
continue working on home improvements, and planning their<br />
2020 wedding.<br />
