Buoyed by the excellent opening day draw at Pershore <strong>Town</strong>,<br />
Darlaston returned to home Premier Division action for the first time<br />
in six years hopeful of turning in a good performance in front of a<br />
large expectant large home crowd.<br />
Unfortunately, Shifnal <strong>Town</strong> had not read the script and the<br />
Shropshire based side controlled the game from start to finish with an<br />
impressive front running display. On this performance the "Shiffers"<br />
will be challenging for honours at the end of the season.<br />
Darlaston's woes started as early as the 3rd minute when Ryan Jones<br />
was adjudged to have brought down Kyle Montague on the<br />
