6. Michelle Arundel<br />

CHIEF PEOPLE & CULTURE OFFICER<br />

Michelle joined <strong>BankVic</strong> in March 2018 and is responsible for building<br />

our culture, employee engagement and workforce performance.<br />

Michelle brings extensive people leadership, coaching and<br />

performance management experience and has held senior positions<br />

at Westpac, Australian Super and IAG.<br />

7. Penny Maroulis<br />

COMPANY SECRETARY<br />

BA LLB (Hons)<br />

Penny was appointed Company Secretary in October 2017 and<br />

is responsible for corporate governance and matters relating to<br />

the Board.<br />

Prior to joining <strong>BankVic</strong>, Penny held the role of advisor to the Chief<br />

Commissioner of Victoria Police. She has over 18 years experience in<br />

senior public sector roles covering corruption prevention, policy and<br />

law reform.<br />

8. Mark Smyth<br />

CHIEF LENDING OFFICER<br />

GradCertBA (Exec), Dip Bus<br />

Mark joined <strong>BankVic</strong> in May <strong>2019</strong>, and is responsible for the<br />

management of <strong>BankVic</strong>’s Lending origination and Branch operations.<br />

Mark brings more than 20 years experience in retail and commercial<br />

banking, working across consumer and commercial lending, member<br />

experience and strategy design, general insurance, credit risk<br />

management, operations and collections<br />

Mark holds an Executive Graduate Certificate in Business<br />

Administration (Executive) and a Diploma of Business (Frontline<br />

Management).<br />

He is also a Non-Executive Director and Chairperson for the<br />

Indigenous Education Foundation (IEF), which aims to prevent longterm<br />

poverty among displaced Indigenous peoples by empowering<br />

their development of educational solutions based around preserving<br />

and harnessing cultural knowledge, customs, and local environment.<br />

9. Rosemary Boissezon<br />

CHIEF SALES OFFICER<br />

GradDip-Bkg&Fin, SA Fin<br />

Rosemary joined <strong>BankVic</strong> in May 2014 and resigned in July <strong>2019</strong>.<br />

She was responsible for our branches and contact centre, as well as<br />

our lending, insurance, wealth management and sales performance.<br />

Previously working at Bank First and with over 36 years experience in<br />

banking and finance, Rosemary regularly represented <strong>BankVic</strong> in the<br />

‘Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance’ charity event for Police Legacy.<br />
