Board Evaluation<br />
The Board assesses its effectiveness each year through an<br />
evaluation procedure, which includes:<br />
• documented performance evaluation and review of each<br />
Board member and their contribution;<br />
• documented evaluation of Board Committees and the<br />
Board’s performance as a whole;<br />
• the appropriateness of meeting schedules and assessment<br />
of the relevance, content and standard of Board material;<br />
• the identification and appropriate management of<br />
business and prudential risks facing <strong>BankVic</strong>; and<br />
• assessment of the necessary range and standard of skills<br />
needed at Board level.<br />
Board Committees<br />
To assist the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities, the Board<br />
currently has six committees:<br />
• Audit Committee<br />
• Risk Committee<br />
• Corporate Governance Committee<br />
• Remuneration, People and Culture Committee<br />
• Digital Transformation and Cyber Committee, and<br />
• Nominations Committee.<br />
Additionally, the Board assesses annually the performance<br />
of the Executives against agreed objectives and key<br />
performance criteria.<br />
