Canada’s best rock climber Sonnie Trotter has hailed<br />
the annual Kootenay Climbing Festival as the “best little<br />
fest in the west.” Organized by The Association of West<br />
Kootenay Rock Climbers (TAWKROC) for the past eight<br />
years, the Climbing Festival takes place the third weekend<br />
of every September and this year saw the greatest number<br />
of participants ever: hundreds of children and adults<br />
attended the daytime and evening activities.<br />
