DAY 1
ARRIVAL SWITZERLAND
Travel to Basel. Your hotel is located
directly opposite the station. You will
be welcomed with a glass of organic
wine from the region.
DAY 2
GOTTHARD PANORAMA EXPRESS
– LOCARNO
Train to Lucerne. Photo stop and
some leisure time in Lucerne.
Paddle Steamer to Flüelen. Panoramic
Train to Bellinzona and on to, Locarno.
tasting & 3-course raclette lunch. After
lunch, train to Lausanne. Leisure time
in the evening.
DAY 6
WINE TASTING IN LAVAUX
Train from Lausanne to Chexbres-
Village via Vevey. We will visit Domaine
Bovy, with cellars dating from the 16th
century. Wine tasting & Local bread,
cheese and cold cuts. Train and boat
ride back to Lausanne.

DAY 3
FOOD & WINE TOUR BELLINZONA
We will meet our guide in Bellinzona,
who will take us on a tour of delis
and restaurants where we will get
the chance to try local delicacies and
wines. After the tour, time for leisure
before returning to Locarno.
DAY 4
FARM, VINEYARDS AND RICE
FIELDS VISIT – ASCONA
Coach ride to Ascona, where we
will visit an “azienda” where they
produce wine, polenta and rice. Wine
& local cheese tasting followed by a
traditional “risottata ticinese”. Time at
leisure in Ascona before heading back
to Locarno by coach.
DAY 5
CENTOVALLI EXPRESS – LAUSANNE
Train to Locarno. From here Centovalli
Express to Domodossola and on
to Sierre, to Chateau de Villa. Wine
Today we will visit the “Fête des
Vendanges” (Grape Harvest Festival)
in Lutry, the town has strong wineproducing
roots. Wine enthusiasts can
enjoy sampling Chasselas, Pinot Noir,
Gamay and other grape varieties. Train
back to Lausanne. Time at leisure.
DAY 8
DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel before returning
back home.
