FOR THE FIRST TIME IN EGYPT
Bavarian Auto Group, the sole BMW Assembler & Importer
in Egypt has recently announced the launch of BMW Z4
for the first time in the local market. The launch of the
car comes within the framework of the Group’s expansion
plan within the Egyptian automotive market that aims to
provide various BMW models in Egypt.
BMW Z4 is considered one of the most distinctive cars
launched by BMW, it is one of the few convertible cars
produced by the Bavarian manufacturer with only two
seats. The car is assembled at (Magna Steyr) AG plants in
Austria, which is one of the most important manufacturers
and designers of cars in Europe.
As a sporty and elegant car, the BMW Z4 does not
hesitate to reveal its sports genes on the road. Thanks
to the latest technology, propulsion components and
innovative motion system, the BMW Z4 is delivering
impressive performance values and unique driving
dynamics.
BMW Z4 is available in Egypt in one edition which is
the sDrive20i Roadster, with a 4-cylinder turbocharged
2000cc engine enhanced by 197 hp and 320 Nm of
torque. The engine is connected to a sporty 8-speed
automatic transmission that transmits power to the rear
wheels of the car, as BMW Z4 is a rear-wheel drive vehicle.
Attractive structure and cabin full of equipment
BMW Z4 Roadster is offered in Egypt with M Sport-package
that features a dynamic appearance which is evident in
the design of the front grille. The car has a fully equipped
cabin such as the M Sport seats and the M leather steering
wheel, as well as the doors’ sills that are decorated with the
sporty M sports logo , beside the (Aluminum Mesh Effect)
and the (Ambient light) that consists of six colors. This perfect
harmony is complemented by black high gloss elements
(BMW individual high gloss shadow line).
This edition from BMW Z4 also includes a set of modifications
from the company’s M sports division, which includes a M
Sport suspension system, beside other modifications in
the shape to boost the aerodynamics (M Aerodynamics
package).
The car can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in only 6.6
sec, with a maximum speed of 240 km / h. The BMW Z4
Roadster sDrive20i consumes 6.5 liters per 100 km.
The car also comes with a range of other equipment such
as front lights with interactive lighting and the corner lighting
(Adaptive LED headlights), while its entertainment and
information system (BMW live cockpit professional) consists
of two 10.25” screens .
The car is enhanced with a 408W audio system with 12
speakers (Harman Kardon surround sound system) and
Apple CarPlay® smart phone system.
Smart Assist Systems in the BMW Z4 Roadster
The BMW Z4 Roadster has a promisng number of smart
systems, which come with a Parking Assistant System and
BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant as these innovative
technologies enhance comfort and safety while driving.
The Driving Assistant system also provides many alerts such
as Lane Departure Warning, Front collision warning with
brake intervention and Crossing traffic warning rear.
The BMW Z4 Roadster’s roof can open or close in just 10
seconds while driving at a speed up to 50 km / h, its rear
box’s capacity is 281 liters.
