• Men’s Coming Out Group<br />
This is a closed group that meets weekly on Wednesday nights for 10 weeks.<br />
The purpose of the group is to offer support to men who are dealing with the<br />
realization they are not heterosexual and how that affects their everyday lives and<br />
to support those people. The group will identify and discuss the stages of coming<br />
out and explore topics such as how to deal with one’s own feelings about coming<br />
out, family members, physical and sexual safety, legal rights and discrimination, and<br />
more. Future meetings may be set up on a needed basis. This group meets when<br />

• Men Moving Forward<br />
This group is a crisis-based peer-led support group for male-identifying individuals<br />
dealing with the effects of emotional, verbal, and physical abuse by a partner or<br />
ex-partner. The group is offered in conjunction with Domestic Abuse Intervention<br />
Services (DAIS) and Rape Crisis Center.<br />

• Men Stopping Rape<br />
Men Stopping Rape was founded in 1983 by men in the Madison community interested<br />
in finding answers to the question “How do we create a world without rape?”<br />
MSR began the process of answering the question by creating spaces where men<br />
can speak to men about male socialization.<br />
