On foot
Itinerànnia
La Garrotxa has Itinerànnia, a large network of footpaths
that is also present in El Ripollès and l’Alt Empordà
and that enables you to walk from one village to
another along historic footpaths.
The basic network is marked by yellow signposts. The
signs on the basic network include a red dot, whereas
Zone Natural Park
La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park includes several
routes marked by cream-coloured signposts with a
burgundy border. These routes run through some of the
areas of most interest with regard to volcanoes, botany
and landscape in La Garrotxa. Most are of a medium level
of difficulty, whereas others are very easy.
Routes by the Consorci de l’Alta Garrotxa
The Consorci de l’Alta Garrotxa (Alta Garrotxa Consortium),
Interest of Alta Garrotxa, offers a range of walking
routes marked with green signs with a green border.
