Modern/Lyrical 2
38 Week Session
Tuesday
Y-member: $45/month
Non-member: $90/month
Modern/lyrical is more creative and less strict than ballet, while
still working on dance technique, strength, flexibility, and
musicality. Class will start with a warmup to work on technique
and flexibility. The class will move to center and across the floor
work to explore different types of movements while maintaining
technique. The class will end working on a combination that puts
modern and lyrical together as a whole dance. Modern and lyrical
are very well-rounded forms of dance that fully explores dance as
a whole. Students will work to achieve a full split. Black
yoga/stretch pants and black jazz shoes or ballet slippers required.
A holiday and spring recital will be held. Information on recitals
and costume fees will be emailed to parents. Monthly payment
plan is available.

Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes
