At the <strong>YMCA</strong> of Greater<br />
Brandywine, many childcare<br />
and early learning programs<br />
are offered for children<br />
six weeks to six years old<br />
including:<br />
• Childcare, Preschool and Pre-K<br />
Led by certified teachers, children are provided with handson<br />
learning experiences through a comprehensive, researchbased<br />
curriculum known as Creative Curriculum, which<br />
focuses on exploration and discovery as a way of learning.<br />
In addition, our programs participate in the Keystone STARS<br />
program, which promotes high quality standards in early<br />
learning and school aged programs.<br />

Because of the <strong>YMCA</strong>’s facilities and offerings, many of our<br />
programs also include swim lessons, sports, gymnastics,<br />
music and more.* In addition, classes available at the <strong>YMCA</strong><br />
such as dance and karate can be added on to your child’s<br />
day,* with <strong>YMCA</strong> staff ensuring each child moves safely from<br />
one activity to the next.<br />
