Providence Catholic students
have college advantage
Last year Providence
Catholic graduates earned
more than $45 million in
college scholarship offers,
and 97% of the class
of 2019 are enrolled in
college. This success is a
mixture of hard-working
students and a strong focus
on college preparation
by the Counseling department.
“As a college prep
school, parents and students
expect the school
to help them prepare for
the college search,” said
Rachel Ellingson, director
of student enrollment at
the school. “Our families
are counseled as early as
freshman year to be proactive
in their search for the
right fit for college. We
work with families to identify
schools that best fit the
student, finding available
scholarship opportunities,
applications, and more
to make the process as
smooth as possible for the
family.”
The Counseling Department
at Providence Catholic
High School has many
responsibilities that include
providing information to
students that enable them
to make wise decisions
essential to their spiritual,
